Salt-Free Cajun Blend
I present to you, a delicious salt-free Cajun blend of seasonings to add a little heat to your favorite savory dishes! Great to use as a dry rub or combine with some extra-virgin olive oil, roasted garlic, vinegar, lemon juice or other seasonings to make marinades, dips, or sauces. Think ‘Blackened Cajun Shrimp’, ‘Cast-Iron Creole Chicken’ or even roasted “garbanzo-popcorn”!
If desired, just add salt as needed during preparation or cooking to help you control the amount used. This method is especially nice in case you want to use pre-salted dressings or sauces along with it.
I love this spicy little number, hope you do too. Enjoy!

- Add all ingredients together in a closed container (mason jar, Tupperware, ziplock bag, etc.), secure lid, and shake to combine.
- Store unused seasoning in an airtight container.
Side Notes:
This recipe yields 6 tablespoons, which is 18 teaspoons in total. Depending on what you're making, roughly 1-2 tsp works well for a single-serving dish. For 'blackened' dishes, you may want to use roughly 3 teaspoons (or 1 tablespoon) per serving to create a nice crusty/charred layer of seasoning.
Adjust measurements used according to taste. If desired, just add salt as needed during preparation or cooking to help you control the amount used. This method is especially nice in case you want to use pre-salted dressings or sauces along with it.
